Job summary

AEP Global is seeking an experienced Energy Marshal / SAP up to 33kV to join a European hyperscale data centre project in Dublin, Ireland. You will own the Safe System of Work, manage HV/LV switching, permits and energisation as the project transitions from construction to live operation.

You will act as the electrical safety authority on site, delivering safety briefings, audits and ensuring compliance with client procedures.

Qualifications

• Current or previous as an Energy Marshal or Senior Authorised Person (SAP) up to 33kV.
• Experience in hyper-scale or colocation data centres is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HV Safe Systems of Work, switching and LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV switching, isolations and energisation up to 33kV.
• Control Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test and Limitations of Access.
• Manage safe access to live electrical systems and energised areas.
• Coordinate construction activities around live plant.
• Produce switching schedules and energisation programmes.
• Work with commissioning teams, client operations and ESB Networks.
• Deliver safety briefings, audits and permit compliance.
• Drive the highest standards of electrical safety on site.
