Collins McNicholas Group in Clonakilty, West Cork, seeks an experienced Electrician to join a growing electrical and solar energy business. The role offers long-term career progression toward senior leadership with potential profit-sharing and equity opportunities in the future.

You will perform electrical installation and maintenance across various projects, supervise teams, liaise with customers and suppliers, and ensure safety and quality standards. A full driving licence is required.

Formación

• Fully qualified electrician with a recognised electrical qualification.
• Strong practical experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Previous solar PV experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and associated works across a range of projects.
• Support the delivery of electrical and solar PV installation projects.
• Oversee and coordinate electrical works, ensuring projects are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Provide technical guidance and support to electricians, apprentices and other team members.
• Assist with planning, scheduling and coordinating projects and resources.
• Liaise with customers, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant regulations, quality standards and health and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
• Work closely with the business owner, gradually taking on additional operational and management responsibilities.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, qualified Electrician to join a growing electrical and solar energy business based in Clonakilty, West Cork. This position would suit an ambitious electrician who is looking to take the next step in their career, moving towards a leadership and management role within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities
