Job summary

ESB is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to deliver renewable energy electrical scopes across onshore generation projects. The role involves leading a skilled team, coordinating with clients, contractors, and OEMs to ensure successful project delivery.

The position requires a Level 8 Electrical Engineering degree with experience in HV substations or related renewables, and strong stakeholder management. Hybrid working with Dublin focus is offered.

Qualifications

• Essential Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering plus 2 years post graduate experience or Level 7 plus 5 years experience.
• Experience delivering electrical scope for HV substations or renewable projects.
• Understanding of Tendering processes for renewable projects.
• Knowledge of safety in construction including HV safety, PSDP and PSCS processes.

Responsibilities

• Feasibility & design development across project lifecycle.
• Tender management and evaluation of submissions.
• Stakeholder engagement and project delivery with clear communication.
• Health & safety oversight and documentation review.
• Contractor and quality management including site inspections.
• Leadership as Lead Electrical Engineer and coordination with PSDP.
