Job summary

THE BLUE BARREL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to lead design development for high-level electrical systems, including HV/LV distribution, substations, and standby generation.

You will prepare calculations, SLDs, and drawings (AutoCAD/Revit MEP), ensuring compliance with Singapore standards and coordinating with multiple M&E disciplines. The role requires senior-level expertise, strong coordination skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PE registration is an advantage.
Experience leading electrical building services design projects.
Proven ability to work with regulatory submissions and design coordination.

Responsibilities

Lead design development of electrical building services for projects.
Prepare and review electrical calculations, SLDs, and cable sizing.
Produce drawings/specifications using AutoCAD/Revit MEP; ensure regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with architects and other M&E disciplines to avoid clashes.
Review tender drawings and support cost estimation as needed.
Liaise with authorities for submissions and approvals.
Provide technical support during construction and commissioning oversight.
Mentor junior engineers and draughtsmen.
