Job summary

Tigers Childcare in Bettystown, County Meath, is hiring a full-time maternity cover leader in early years. You’ll lead your room and team to deliver high-quality care and education, ensuring the curriculum aligns with best practices.

We offer a competitive hourly rate (€17.50–€19.28), 30 paid holidays, health plan discount, and ongoing CPD. Garda Vetting is coordinated by us, with international clearance considered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a similar early years leadership role.
• Fetac Level 6 in Early Childhood Education or recognised equivalent.
• Garda Vetting will be managed by Tigers Childcare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, full-time early years care and education, leading your room and team.
• Ensure curriculum planning aligns with Aistear and Siolta and maintains standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to your team for children’s development and wellbeing.
• Contribute to a culture of professionalism, inclusion, safety and care across the centre.
