Job summary

Tigers Childcare in Balgriffin, Dublin, is hiring for a full-time leadership role in early years. You will lead your room and team, delivering high-quality care and education while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for children’s development.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of €17.50–€19.28, 30 paid holidays, health plan discounts, referral bonuses, EAP, educational support, and ongoing CPD opportunities. Garda Vetting is required and supported by us.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year in a similar early years leadership role.
• Fetac Level 6 (or recognised equivalent) in Early Childhood Education.
• Copies of qualifications and 2 written references.
• Garda Vetting (we will manage this for you).
• International police clearance if applicable (for those who have lived abroad 6+ months).
• Leadership capability, reliability, empathy, and passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, full-time early years care and education, leading your room and team to support children’s holistic development.
• Ensure curriculum planning and learning experiences align with Aistear and Siolta, maintaining compliance and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to your team, helping them support children’s development and wellbeing.
• Contribute to a culture of professionalism, inclusion, safety, and care within your room and across the centre.
