Job summary

Amazon Aurora is seeking experienced software developers to help design and build hyper-scale database services for the cloud. You will own significant system software components and work on distributed databases spanning thousands of servers and multiple data centers worldwide.

This hands-on role requires strong coding skills in Java, C++, or C#, leadership, and a customer-focused mindset. You will mentor others, influence architecture, and contribute to AWS’s broad database and cloud platform

Qualifications

• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
