Job summary

PSC Biotech Corporation Ireland seeks a Lead Manufacturing Biotech Associate to oversee a shift-based production team producing biologic drug substances. You will act as a technical point of contact, coach team members, and ensure smooth progression of batches across a 24/7 operating schedule.

The role requires 5+ years in biopharma, strong cGMP/EHS knowledge, and proven leadership in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in technical/engineering/science (Level 8).
Minimum 5 years in biopharma.
Proven leadership in regulated environments.
Strong GMP/EHS knowledge.

Responsibilities

The production of biologic drug substance on their designated shift and act as a coach and a technical point of contact for others on the shift team.
Trouble shooting and problem solving with the ability to lead self-directed work teams.
Progression of an automated recipe using paperless technology to generate drug substance through filtration and purification.
Setting up single-use equipment between runs and ensuring world class GMP and EHS principles are applied.
Deliver on safety, quality, and schedule; focus on right first time and continuous improvement.
Coach or mentor peers on unit operations to support the value stream.
Lead and sponsor approved projects aligned with site strategy and continuous improvement.
Act as primary delegate for the manufacturing shift lead during emergencies.
