Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or process engineering.
• 5+ years Biotech Industry experience in bulk manufacturing.
• Competent in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team.
• Understanding of multi-column chromatography concepts and bioreactors.
• Familiarity with contamination control and batch release requirements.
• Familiarity with Emerson DeltaV, PAS-X, and automation in manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in single-use techniques and experiences with end-to-end single-use facility commissioning and qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supports end-to-end production, including batch and continuous manufacturing.
• Operate equipment according to electronic batch records, sampling plans and SOPs.
• Work as part of a dedicated process team requiring flexibility and teamwork.
• Solve problems and bring new perspectives to existing solutions with a drive to learn and improve.
• Support weekend or on-call duty to support manufacturing.
• Assist in authoring electronic batch records, sampling plans, work instructions and SOPs.
• Lead/guiding team members in a process team for one or more unit operations.
• Maintain GMP status of equipment devices through monitoring, calibration, maintenance and certification.
