Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment (Ireland) Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Technical Bid Manager in Dublin. You will lead complex tender proposals from enquiry to submission, coordinating technical, commercial and operational inputs to develop winning strategies and compliant solutions.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering and a track record of managing multidisciplinary bid teams on major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Experience leading complex bids in construction/civil engineering/infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of engineering, construction methodologies, planning and commercial delivery.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple workstreams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong project management, organisational and leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing tender governance, risk and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead tender submissions from receipt through to final submission.
• Develop winning bid strategies, value propositions and delivery approaches.
• Review tender documentation, employer requirements, clarifications and addenda.
• Drive the overall bid programme and ensure on-time delivery of milestones.
• Act as the central point of coordination for all bid activities.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, planning, commercial and HSEQ teams.
• Manage communications with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and stakeholders.
• Coordinate external designers, consultants and joint venture partners.
• Lead development of technical submissions, methodologies and execution plans.
• Ensure alignment between technical solutions, programme requirements and cost models.
• Support logistics plans, construction methodologies, resourcing strategies and innovation proposals.
• Contribute to technical bid writing and content development.
• Lead tender governance and quality assurance processes.
• Coordinate internal approvals, sign-offs and quality reviews.
• Coordinate red team reviews and final submission checks.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, legal and client requirements.
