Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Ireland is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, operate and continuously improve secure, highly available Azure platforms supporting large-scale production environments.

You will provide technical leadership for reliability initiatives, develop reusable automation and collaborate with engineering, security, architecture and product teams to improve resilience and operational performance.

Qualifications

Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering or DevOps in large-scale production environments.
Advanced Terraform skills and reusable IaC design.
Strong Git/GitOps practices with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
Proficient in Linux administration, scripting and multiple languages.
Experience with monitoring, observability, distributed tracing and proactive alerting.
Technical leadership, problem solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain highly available Azure infrastructure (AKS, VMs, Functions, App Services, Storage, Networking, Key Vault).
Define and maintain SLI/SLOs and error budgets; lead incident reviews and resilience patterns.
Develop IaC with Terraform; automate operational processes using Python/PowerShell/Go/Bash.
Operate and optimise AKS clusters; establish container security standards; manage upgrades and workloads.
Build monitoring and logging with Grafana and Azure Monitor; automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers, participate in on-call rotations.
