Blackrock Clinic, part of Blackrock Health Group, seeks a Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide autonomous thoracic surgical care across referral, assessment, surgery, recovery and long-term follow-up. You will work closely with Professor Karen Redmond and the multidisciplinary team to drive thoracic service development.

Responsibilities include leading ERAS pathways, MDT coordination, theatre education and staff development, with a strong emphasis on patient experience, quality

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced assessment and management for patients undergoing robotic thoracic surgery.
• Coordinate pre-admission assessment including pulmonary function testing and anaesthetic assessment.
• Lead Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) pathways including mobilisation, nutrition and discharge planning.
• Coordinate Thoracic Surgery MDTs and Lung Check programmes.
• Develop SOPs, patient pathways and governance processes.
• Educate ward nurses and clinical staff on thoracic care and ERAS.
