Job summary

CPL Group seeks an experienced Substation Package Manager for a new 110 kV AIS substation project in County Meath. You will lead engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, manage design-build contracts, and coordinate with customers, network operators and the TSO to deliver on time and budget.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have deep experience delivering HV substations in Ireland, with strong negotiation and cost-control skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of HV Substation delivery in Ireland.
• Strong analytical and cost-control capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with teamwork focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a concept for delivering the 110 kV AIS substation.
• Review design and build package scope and specifications.
• Manage procurement, TQs, and commercial terms for the contractor.
• Oversee design and build contract execution and variations.
• Coordinate with customer, the network, and the TSO for interface management.
• Monitor progress and project expenditures and cost risks.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Stay updated on Irish construction regulations and standards.
