Education is a powerful value multiplier for Vitalograph and will play a central role in supporting V30, Vitalograph’s 2030 strategy. To support this, training and education activities are being brought together within a newly defined Learning, Development & Delivery (LDD) function.
LDD will operate as an organisational Centre of Expertise for learning, development and delivery, building organisational capability and creating a more integrated and consistent approach to learning. It will provide customers, partners and employees with a clear, accessible learning journey that enables confident and competent use of Vitalograph products and supports business priorities, customer needs, RDS and upcoming trials.
The Role
Reporting to the LDD Senior Operations Lead, the LDD Workforce Development Specialist will develop and deliver high-quality learning experiences that build organisational capability and support Vitalograph’s strategic priorities.
Working closely with Global HR, departmental leaders, managers, subject matter experts and the wider LDD team, the role will identify learning needs and manage the full training lifecycle, from needs analysis and learning design through to delivery and evaluation.
The role will support onboarding, role competence, continuous professional development and a consistent organisation-wide learning culture. It will also use learning data, stakeholder insight and learner feedback to improve capability, learner experience and training effectiveness, ensuring learning remains current, well governed and aligned with business needs.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver engaging onboarding, induction and internal training across digital, virtual, blended and in-person formats.
- Work with Global HR, business leaders, managers and workforce representatives to identify learning needs, target audiences, objectives and appropriate delivery methods.
- Act as the internal training lead, working with the LDD Lead, Media Specialist and Content Developer to develop, review and update learner-focused materials, including presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, eLearning and supporting resources.
- Deliver and coordinate training for employees at all organisational levels, adapting facilitation and content to learner needs, role context and prior knowledge.
- Support the LDD Senior Operations Lead and LDD Coordinator with:
- Training schedules, facilitators, learner communications, resources and logistics.
- Administration of the Vitalograph Centre of Learning, including users, enrolments, catalogues, learning pathways, permissions and completion records.
- Accurate evidence of participation, completion and competence in line with company processes and quality requirements.
- Learner and stakeholder support, resolving routine queries and escalating platform, content or delivery issues as required.
- Evaluate learning participation and effectiveness using data and feedback to improve content, delivery and learner experience.
- Ensure learning materials meet approved templates, branding, accessibility, version-control and governance standards.
- Contribute to LDD planning, reporting and continuous improvement, sharing effective practice and supporting a consistent organisation-wide learning culture.
Key Skills & Experience – Essential
- Relevant qualification in learning and development, education, HR or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in learning and development, internal training or training delivery.
- Experience facilitating training for varied employee audiences across live and digital formats.
- Experience creating or updating clear, engaging learning materials using subject matter expert input.
- Experience using learning management systems such as 360 Learning or Moodle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting and facilitating groups.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with Global HR, business stakeholders, subject matter experts and learners.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.
- Self‑motivated, curious and proactive, with a practical approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
Desirable
- Recognised qualification or certification in learning and development, training delivery or instructional design.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, learning needs analysis and evaluation methods.
- Experience developing eLearning or using digital authoring tools and standards such as SCORM.
- Experience producing learning reports, dashboards or insights from learning platform and learner data.
- Experience in medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, clinical trials or another regulated environment.
- Understanding of competence management, training compliance, quality systems or controlled-document processes.
