Job summary

Enterprise Flex-E-Rent in Dublin is seeking a skilled LCV Technician/Mechanic for our workshop team. You will diagnose faults, repair a range of commercial vehicles and take ownership of repairs from start to finish.

We offer a €1,500 joining bonus, overtime at 1.25x, structured career progression, and a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts. Applicants must pass security checks and hold a valid Irish manual driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Full Irish Manual Driving Licence is required.
• Experience with HGVs/LCVs or commercial fleets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles.
• Carrying out mechanical, electrical and electronic fault finding.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
• Taking ownership of repairs from diagnosis through to completion.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Maintaining records using digital systems and tools.
• Collaborating with a team to maximise vehicle availability.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles
• Carrying out mechanical, electrical and electronic fault finding
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults efficiently
• Working with leading manufacturers including Mercedes, Iveco and Ford
• Taking ownership of repairs from diagnosis through to successful completion
• Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring all vehicles meet safety and quality standards
• Maintaining accurate records using digital systems and tools
• Collaborating with a skilled and friendly team to maximise vehicle availability
• Adapting to changing priorities and supporting the team across a variety of vehicle types and repair requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Good organisation and time-management skills
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a passion for vehicle maintenance
• Experience with vehicle electrical systems and modern vehicle technology
• Experience preparing vehicles for MOT
• Experience working to productivity and efficiency targets
• Strong IT skills and confidence using workshop systems

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with experience working with HGVs, LCVs or commercial vehicle fleets
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills and experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment
• Full Irish Manual Driving Licence
• Aged 21 and above for insurance purposes
• Full right to work in Ireland
