Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Technician Coordinator to support the QCL Laboratory Technician team by coordinating workloads, resource allocation and ensuring smooth operation across departments for high-quality laboratory services.

The role requires qualification in a scientific discipline or equivalent lab experience, with a GMP background and strong attention to detail. It is a full-time position, based in Ireland, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 39 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Qualified in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of laboratory processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee laboratory technician schedules across departments.
• Monitor workloads and allocate tasks for efficient operations.
• Provide day-to-day coordination and resolve scheduling or resource challenges.
• Collaborate with departments to identify support requirements and ensure priorities are met.
• Maintain high standards of quality, compliance and accuracy in all activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the laboratory.
