Job summary

Westbourne IT Global Services in Limerick is seeking an IT Systems Support Specialist to support installation, validation, and maintenance of computerized instrument systems in laboratory and manufacturing environments.

The role emphasizes GxP compliance, data integrity, lifecycle management, and cybersecurity, with hands-on work in Active Directory, access management, and SOP development. On-site role; excellent collaboration across IT and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience with regulated industries preferred (pharma a plus).
• Knowledge of GxP, data integrity, and CSV validation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gain in-depth knowledge of IT functionality for analytical equipment to support installation, upgrade, validation, and maintenance.
• Draft and update IT-related SOPs and procedures.
• Execute computer system validation deliverables for new and existing projects.
• Train and support users on proper use of computerized analytical equipment.
• Administer user accounts in Active Directory and other identity management systems.
• Maintain access controls using role-based security models.
• Manage AD environments, including user/group management, OUs, and Group Policies.
• Serve as liaison between corporate IT teams and local business units.
• Keep systems and applications up-to-date with current supported versions.
• Actively participate in team meetings and audit activities.

Role Overview

The IT Systems Support Specialist will support the installation, validation, and maintenance of a wide range of computerized instrument systems in both laboratory and manufacturing environments. This role ensures compliance with cybersecurity, data integrity, lifecycle management, and applicable quality standards.

Note : This is a 5 day On-Site role in Limerick, Ireland

Educational Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Equivalent industry experience in lieu of degree will be considered

• Experience inpharmaceutical or other regulated industriespreferred
