Qualifications

• Full or partial secondary education with the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Previous laboratory experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and practices at all times.
• Wear protective equipment as required.
• Report any hazardous observations or potential improvements to the Supervisor.
• Perform work as assigned by the Laboratory Manager or Supervisor and report completion.
• Follow written or oral instructions when procedures are not documented.
• Check and maintain sample identification; report deviations.
• Handle samples to preserve identity and prevent loss or contamination.
• Monitor quality, note anomalies, and report to the Manager.
• Fill forms and worksheets; sign/initial records.
• Operate equipment per manuals; ensure calibration if applicable; report anomalies.
• Keep area clean; prepare for next use.
• Suggest improvements to the Laboratory Manager or Quality Manager.
• Complete records per ISO 17025 and INAB requirements.
