Job summary

Randstad Employment Bureau in Kilrush, Co. Clare, is seeking a Lab Technician on a 6-month contract basis with the potential for extension. The role focuses on QA/QC testing, maintaining quality records, and providing technical support to Engineering and Quality teams.

The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and in teams, and a high level of PC proficiency. An early finish on Fridays and consistent full-time hours are offered in a local manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Support QA/QC testing to ensure compliance with standards.

• Perform Quality Control analysis of incoming sources.
• Complete Certificates of Assurance and Certificate of Conformance.
• Assist with calibration activities and record maintenance.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety site procedures.

Location: Kilrush, Co. Clare

Role Type: 6-Month Contract (with potential for extension)

Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week.

Role Overview

We currently have a vacancy for the position of Lab Technician based in Kilrush. The Lab Technician contributes to the Quality & Technical Team by supporting the QA/QC testing in line with relevant standards. Reporting to the Lab Supervisor this position plays an important role in our Company, with visible relationships across all departments.

Contract Duration & Hours

• Duration: This is a temporary 3-month contract. An extension may be offered at the end of this term, subject to individual performance and overall business requirements.
• Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week.
• Schedule: * Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00
  • Friday: 08:30 - 16:00

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to all Environmental, Health & Safety site procedures.
• Testing of final product against specifications.
• Maintain quality records.
• Provide Technical support to Engineering and Quality teams on Key Projects.
• Quality Control Analysis of incoming sources.
• Completion of Certs of Assurance and Certs of Conformance.
• Assist with Calibration and record maintenance.
• Other reasonable duties as required by the Company.
