Job summary

Tirlán is seeking a Process Technician based in Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny, for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will join a dedicated team to perform sampling and testing across materials and processes, contributing to QS compliance and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Quality Operations Manager, the role offers a collaborative work culture and opportunities for career progression within a world-class food and nutrition co-operative.

Qualifications

• Qualification in a process/operational/technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Aptitude for operational processes.
• Aptitude for Process Improvement and Lean.
• Technical/testing skills required.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Data collection, trending and reporting.
• Teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Sampling raw materials and processes.
• Co-ordinating the collection of Finished Product samples from plants.
• Testing samples from processes including Phosphatase, Peroxidase, Antibiotics, Resazurin, Added Water/TS, End of Line Defence.
• Investigative sampling and follow-up.
• Environmental sampling from processes.
• QS Compliance oversight.
