Job summary

Aramark Ireland is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen in Tralee, Kerry. You will help maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist chefs with food preparation and service flow.

Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of food safety, be reliable and able to work under pressure. This on-site role offers opportunities to develop hospitality skills and progress within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality support or kitchen porter role preferred.
• Solid food safety and hygiene understanding and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas and surfaces.
• Assist with food preparation tasks including peeling, chopping, and portioning as directed.
• Remove and dispose of waste and recyclables per health and safety standards.
• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Restock supplies to support kitchen operations and service flow.
• Monitor food safety and report concerns promptly to management.
• Work efficiently during peak service times to support the kitchen team.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
