Job summary

Gourmet Food Parlour in Dublin is seeking an experienced kitchen porter to join the Santry-based catering kitchen. The role requires someone energetic, reliable, and ready to contribute to a busy kitchen environment.

You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene, support with deliveries, and assist in all areas under the Head Chef. Flexible hours and a strong team ethos are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as kitchen porter or similar role.
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Able to obtain a valid work permit/visa.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and store safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash crockery and utensils.
• Daily clean of kitchen areas.
• Deep clean of kitchen equipment.
• Keep store areas neat and tidy.
• Provide Porter support with deliveries.
• Keep waste areas clean and tidy; dispose of packaging and recycling.

We’re looking for someone who’s excited to come in to work every day and who’s ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges.

Skills Required:

You will help to keep a kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe, and hygienic.

• Wash crockery and utensils
• Daily clean of kitchen areas
• Deep clean of kitchen equipment
• Keep store areas neat and tidy
• Provide Porter support with deliveries
• Keep waste areas clean and tidy, disposal of packaging, recycling .
• Provide Porter support in all areas controlled by Head Chef
• Accept training to enable safe completion of duties
• Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time

• Be a team player
• Be calm under pressure & be able to multitask and work to tight deadlines
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards adhering toHACCP guidelines and store safety and security.
• Engage with and understand other team members through clear and pleasant communication
• Comply within company dress and personal hygiene code that meets HACCP guidelines
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
• Have a valid work permit/visa
