Job summary

Seapoint Golf Links in Ireland is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen Porter for the busy seasonal period. The contract runs from 23 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, reporting to the Head Chef and supporting hygiene, cleaning, and kitchen procedures.

Evening shifts and weekends are required. A team-oriented approach, good English, and legal working rights are essential; meals on duty and golf discounts are available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
• Take full responsibility for HACCP standards and daily records.
• Assist chefs with daily procedures and ensure plates and crockery are washed and stored correctly.
• Ensure deliveries are checked and waste is managed according to policy.

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Kitchen Porter to work at Seapoint Golf Links, Co. Louth.

Please note this is a Short Fixed Term / Full Time Contract from 23rd November 2026 to the 3rd of January 2027, to cover a busy seasonal period.

Overview

We are looking to hire a Kitchen Porter at Seapoint Golf Links. Reporting to the Head Chef, the Kitchen Porter will be responsible for the execution and upkeep of kitchen hygiene and cleaning practices and minimising the wastage of chemicals in the kitchen.

The Kitchen Porter should ensure hygiene, health and safety standards, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) records are adhered to and documented daily. Must be available to work evening shifts and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Constantly maintaining the highest standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
• Taking full responsibility for ensuring HACCP standards are met.
• Ensuring compliance with chemical training and proper usage of chemicals.
• Ensuring all deliveries are checked, records are completed, and goods are safely stored.
• Keeping all fire exits and walkways clear and clean.
• Maintaining good stock rotation in all fridges, freezers and dry goods areas.
• Ensuring the cold room is swept and mopped at the end of each service.
• Keeping the pot wash/wash-up area continuously cleared.
• Maintaining the kitchen and delivery yard's waste management and recycling programme.
• Following the daily cleaning schedule for all kitchen equipment and general kitchen areas.
• Assisting chefs with the set-up of daily procedures for service and functions as required by the Head Chef, ensuring all plates and crockery are washed and placed in the correct sections, ready for daily service.
