Job summary

Kerry is offering a 6–12 month internship in Tralee, Ireland, with a full-time hybrid model. You will work three days per week in the office, contributing to digital and ICT projects while learning across multiple business functions.

Ideal candidates are studying Computer Science, IT, BIS or Data Analytics, aiming for a 2:1 or equivalent. You will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with colleagues, and have exposure to AI initiatives within Kerry's sustainable nutrition focus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, BIS or Data Analytics.
• On track for a 21 degree classification or equivalent.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in global business transformation projects and digital solutions.
• Support and enhance business applications from data capture to reporting.

What You’ll Work On

• Getting involved in global business transformation projects and seeing how digital solutions are developed, supported and implemented across Kerry.
• Supporting and enhancing a range of business applications, from data capture through to analysis, reporting and presentation tools.
• Depending on business needs and your interests, you could be placed in one of our specialist ICT teams, with opportunities across business systems, digital operations, data, service delivery and infrastructure — including Back Office, Front Office, Master Data Governance, Data Conversion, Service Delivery, Middle Office and Infrastructure.
• Working closely with colleagues across the business, including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Procurement, to understand how ICT supports Kerry’s day-to-day operations and long-term goals.
• Building your functional skills and technical knowledge through on-the-job learning, external training and exposure to real ICT priorities.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to have it all figured out. For this internship, we’re looking for someone who is curious, organised and ready to get involved.

• Studying Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related degree, and on track for a 21 degree classification (or equivalent).
• Curious about how a global business works, and open to learning from the people around you.
• Comfortable taking ownership of your work, while knowing when to ask questions or reach out for support.
• Eager to explore AI and new technologies, and keen to use them to work smarter, solve real challenges and make a meaningful impact.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams, and Copilot.
• Clear in how you communicate, whether you’re working with your team, sharing updates or managing priorities.
