Job summary

SimoTech is hiring a Junior MES (Tulip) Engineer to support a multinational client in Cork. The role focuses on design, configuration, testing, and support of Tulip-based MES solutions for electronic batch records, weigh & dispense, and shopfloor execution processes.

The successful candidate will learn MES systems, validation practices (CSV), and Tulip development within a GxP-regulated manufacturing environment, while collaborating with senior engineers and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in regulated environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of MES applications using Tulip.
• Develop and update Tulip apps/workflows to digitise shopfloor activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing SMEs to translate manual processes into digital workflows.
• Assist in testing (SAT/UAT) of MES applications and document results clearly.
• Support CSV activities and ensure changes are tested, documented, and compliant with GxP.
