Job summary

wagamama is seeking a Junior Sous Chef for a full-time position. You will be a growing leader focused on food quality and standards, creating a positive place for guests and teams, and inspiring the kitchen crew to deliver exceptional dishes.

You will help manage the line, plan shifts, oversee health and safety standards, understand GP/stock costs, and celebrate team successes while developing your leadership within a vibrant, inclusive kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Are passionate about supporting your team + helping others be the best they can be and maintaining high standards
• Are ready to manage the line, planning shifts to make sure we have the right cover + love working with the team, coaching on the go
• Have an understanding of your kitchen’s food, health and safety standards, understanding financial performance of a kitchen including gross profit, stock control + labour costs
• Love to celebrate success with your team, recognising what drives individuals and their needs
