Job summary

Adare Manor invites applications for a Junior Sommelier at The Carriage House, joining our renowned Food & Beverage team and working closely with the Head Sommelier to oversee one of Ireland's finest wine cellars.

Candidates should hold WSET/CMS Level 2 (or equivalent) and have at least 2 years' experience in luxury hospitality, with strong knowledge of French and New World wines and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Qualifications

• WSET/CMS Level 2 (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sommelier in luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of French and New World wines.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic service environment.
• A true passion for wine and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, personalised, and expert wine service to our guests.
• Confidently guide guests through our extensive wine programme.
• Support cellar management, including stock control, organisation, and ordering.
• Assist in the evolution of our wine lists and pairing experiences.
• Provide wine education and training for the wider Food & Beverage team.
• Maintain impeccable service standards reflective of Adare Manor's excellence.

About The Role

We are now recruiting for a Junior Sommelier to join our Carriage House team.

Working As Part Of Our Food & Beverage Team And Directly With Our Fantastic Head Sommelier, You Will Help Oversee One Of The Finest Wine Cellars In Ireland. Our Impressive Wine Listings Include

• Over 780 labels
• Wines from 20 countries
• Vintages dating back to 1934

You will join a knowledgeable, passionate Sommelier Team dedicated to enhancing our wine culture throughout the resort.
