Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Junior Site Engineer to join a leading structural contractor in Dublin. The role focuses on setting out, surveying and supporting Senior Engineers across projects in South Dublin and West Dublin.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree or diploma, with 1–2 years’ site experience or placement experience for graduates, and an interest in RC frames, formwork and structural works. A driving licence and right to work in Ireland are desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–2 years’ site experience preferred.
• Graduate engineers with placement experience considered.
• Interest in RC frames, formwork and structural works.
• Good understanding of construction drawings.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full driving licence desirable.
• Right to work in Ireland.

Projects are based across South Dublin and West Dublin, offering excellent experience and career progression.

Duties

• Supporting Site Managers and Senior Engineers
• Supervising subcontractors
• Monitoring reinforced concrete and structural works
• Carrying out quality checks and site inspections
• Assisting with technical queries and site documentation
• Ensuring works are completed safely and to specification

Requirements
