Job summary

JJ Rhatigan & Company is seeking a proactive Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Ireland. The role focuses on supporting the current and forecast financial position across projects, aligning with JJ Rhatigan’s processes and documentation controls.

You will gain exposure to procurement, tendering, subcontractor appointments, payments, and cost reporting, while developing skills in SAP, SharePoint, and cross-functional collaboration within a leading construction firm.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of contracts and procurement.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial team with procurement, tendering and cost reporting.
• Assist with subcontractor appointments and payments in SAP.
• Maintain project commercial records on SharePoint.
• Prepare internal reports and CVRs in line with processes.
