Job summary

Conack, a leading Irish construction company, is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support delivery of projects based in Cork. You will gain hands-on experience across site operations, project coordination, health and safety, BCAR, and construction delivery while working with seasoned project teams.

This role provides a clear path for career development, exposure to high-profile projects, and ongoing training as you contribute to on-site coordination, documentation, and project reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in a construction or site-based role is advantageous.
• Strong interest in developing a career in Project Management.
• Good understanding of construction processes and site coordination.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage project documentation.
• Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in day-to-day management of construction projects.
• Assist with health & safety documentation for subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinate the ordering of materials and plant equipment.
• Monitor project progress and support site operations.
• Assist with BCAR documentation, O&M manuals, and ancillary certification.
• Prepare and track weekly timesheets and project returns.
• Support the Site Manager with setting out and site coordination duties.
• Assist with snagging, inspections, and handover processes.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
