Job summary

Elusav Recruitment is seeking a Junior Mechanical Estimator to support detailed estimates and competitive tenders for large-scale Data Centre projects across Europe. You will review drawings and specifications, prepare estimates, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers while working with Mechanical, Electrical and CSA teams throughout the tender process.

You will produce reports for bids, maintain cost data, mentor junior staff, and present estimates to the Estimating Director and Board

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in mechanical estimating or QS.
• Experience reviewing drawings and specs for bids.
• FIDIC contracts knowledge desirable.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and QS software.

Responsibilities

• Produce reports for bids and monthly meetings.
• Prepare estimates based on drawings and specs.
• Support pricing from Irish and European subcontractors and suppliers.
• Use spreadsheets to compare bids and justify selections.
• Assist in maintaining the cost data base.
• Present the estimate to Estimating Director and Board when required.
• Collaborate with CSA & Electrical Estimators.
