Job summary

Global Payments Inc. in Dublin is seeking a commercially minded Corporate Counsel with 0–3 years’ PQE to join our UK&I legal team. This role offers broad in‑house exposure across commercial, corporate, regulatory and operational matters in a fast-paced fintech environment.

You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements, support disputes and regulatory projects, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enable growth while managing risk. Hybrid work three days a week.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years’ PQE in Ireland, UK or similar
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable firm or in‑house team
• Exposure to commercial contracts, fintech or regulated industries is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Support drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements (customer, supplier, partner, technology and intra‑group)
• Assist with disputes, debt recovery, insolvency or enforcement matters as required
• Provide practical legal support to internal stakeholders on day‑to‑day queries
• Contribute to product, regulatory, operational and strategic projects
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, data privacy and regulatory teams to align advice with laws and policies
• Assist with legal research, horizon scanning and briefing on developments
• Help maintain templates, playbooks, trackers and processes across the legal function
• Assist with tax and corporate governance matters including board support and corporate records maintenance
