Job summary

Waystone is seeking a Junior Associate – Fund Risk in Ireland to support client servicing through risk monitoring, oversight and reporting. You will work with the supervisor in the Irish team to monitor risk for liquid and illiquid funds and gain proficiency in risk systems.

The role involves daily risk reporting, reconciliations and collaboration across time zones while developing knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD as part of risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business or related field required.
• Master’s degree in Finance or mathematical field is desirable but not required.
• Role is quantitative and requires proficiency with numerical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily risk reporting tasks including mapping, report creation and distribution of risk reports.
• Develop familiarity with UCITS and AIFMD in risk management.
• Monitor risk exposure and handle client queries with escalation as needed.
• Perform daily reconciliations on data, accounting, compliance checks and risk analytics.
• Work with Bloomberg and SQL daily and collaborate with teams across locations.

Education

3rd level Degree in Finance/Business

Master’s Degree in Finance or Math-related field desirable
