Job summary

Reperio Human Capital Ltd is partnering with a Co. Clare employer to hire a Junior Electronic Engineer.

You will test and validate electronic hardware, build prototypes, and support validation and EMC pre-compliance testing in a modern R&D lab alongside hardware, RF and firmware engineers. The role requires a degree in electronic/electrical or electronic & computer engineering and 2–4 years of hardware experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Electronic & Computer Engineering.
• 2–4 years' experience in electronics or hardware engineering.
• Hands-on with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators or spectrum analysers.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble and debug prototype circuits and PCBs.

Junior Electronic Engineer

Junior Electronic Engineer | Co. Clare | Permanent | Onsite

Responsibilities

• Test and validate electronic hardware, including the wireless performance of connected products.
• Build, assemble and debug prototype circuits and PCBs.
• Support design validation and EMC pre-compliance testing.
• Work closely with hardware, RF and firmware engineers in modern R&D labs.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic, Electrical or Electronic & Computer Engineering.
• 2-4 years' experience in an electronics or hardware engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators or spectrum analysers.
• Good soldering and PCB rework skills, including small components.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to wireless technologies such as BLE, Wi‑Fi, Thread, Matter or Sub‑Ghz. An RF background is not essential, as training and mentoring are provided.
• Embedded C or scripting experience.
• An interest in prototyping and new product development.
