We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join Suir Engineering. This position will be based in Tallaght on a Data Center project.

What you will be doing?
- Development and review of schematic drawings and single line diagrams
- Complying with specific project safety requirements
- Detailed design covering all aspects of High & Low voltage equipment and control and protection systems
- Specification, selection and procurement of the range of equipment
- Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports. Provide engineering support for the project team and work closely alongside the Quality and Commissioning Teams.
- Create Test Packs for field use, this includes Test Sheets/QAQC Documents/Handover Documents/ Load Calculations for the Client.
- Provide support to the site team, i.e. supplying relevant documentation, most up-to-date drawings, identification tags, and other relevant site equipment.
- Review & upload Handover documents to the Client.
- Update technical drawings on‑site with live updates and site changes
- Attend site walks / daily meetings with the client
Is this the job for me?
- Suitable Candidates must have a third level degree in Electrical Engineering with 1+ years’ experience working as an Electrical Engineer.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working in the power and renewables sector
- Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines together with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
- Enjoy working as part of a high performing team.
