Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and review schematic drawings and single line diagrams.
• Comply with project safety requirements.
• Detailed design of high and low voltage equipment and protection systems.
• Specify, select and procure equipment.
• Monitor progress against program and provide engineering support to project team.
• Create Test Packs for field use (Test Sheets/QAQC Documents/Handover Documents/Load Calculations).
• Support site team with documentation, drawings, tags and equipment.
• Review & upload handover documents to client.
• Update technical drawings on-site with live updates.
• Attend site walks and meetings with the client.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join Suir Engineering. This position will be based in Tallaght on a Data Center project.

We are currently expanding significantly, and are delivering large scale projects across Ireland, the U.K, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

What you will be doing?

• Development and review of schematic drawings and single line diagrams
• Complying with specific project safety requirements
• Detailed design covering all aspects of High & Low voltage equipment and control and protection systems
• Specification, selection and procurement of the range of equipment
• Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports. Provide engineering support for the project team and work closely alongside the Quality and Commissioning Teams.
• Create Test Packs for field use, this includes Test Sheets/QAQC Documents/Handover Documents/ Load Calculations for the Client.
• Provide support to the site team, i.e. supplying relevant documentation, most up-to-date drawings, identification tags, and other relevant site equipment.
• Review & upload Handover documents to the Client.
• Update technical drawings on‑site with live updates and site changes
• Attend site walks / daily meetings with the client
