Suir Engineering Ltd invites applications for a Junior Electrical Engineer based in Castletroy, Co. Limerick on a Pharmaceutical project. The role is with an international provider of M&E engineering solutions across Energy, Pharma, Food & Beverage and Data Centres.

You will develop and review schematic drawings, ensure safety compliance, design high/low voltage systems, and support the project team with documentation and live drawings. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Third level degree in Electrical Engineering with 1+ years’ experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in power and renewables sector.
• Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines with attention to detail.
• Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
• Enjoy working as part of a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review schematic drawings and single line diagrams.
• Complying with specific project safety requirements.
• Detailed design covering high & low voltage equipment and control/protection systems.
• Specification, selection and procurement of equipment.
• Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports; provide engineering support to the project team.
• Create Test Packs for field use (Test Sheets/QAQC/Handover/Load Calculations).
• Provide support to the site team with documentation and up-to-date drawings.
• Review & upload handover documents to the Client.
• Update technical drawings on-site with live updates.
• Attend site walks / daily client meetings.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join Suir Engineering. This position will be based Castletroy, Co. Limerick on a Pharmaceutical project.

What you will be doing?

• Development and review of schematic drawings and single line diagrams
• Complying with specific project safety requirements
• Detailed design covering all aspects of High & Low voltage equipment and control and protection systems
• Specification, selection and procurement of the range of equipment
• Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports. Provide engineering support for the project team and work closely alongside the Quality and Commissioning Teams.
• Create Test Packs for field use, this includes Test Sheets/QAQC Documents/Handover Documents/ Load Calculations for the Client.
• Provide support to the site team, i.e. supplying relevant documentation, most up-to-date drawings, identification tags, and other relevant site equipment.
• Review & upload Handover documents to the Client.
• Update technical drawings on-site with live updates and site changes
• Attend site walks / daily meetings with the client
