Job summary

IN2 Engineering in Dublin seeks a graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical team, supporting the design and delivery of electrical building services across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and industrial sectors.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience from concept through construction and handover, developing technical and professional confidence in a supported environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Graduate experience in electrical design or building services (placements/internships welcomed).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and building services design.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of electrical building services systems across multiple sectors.
• Produce electrical drawings, schematics and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Carry out engineering calculations including load assessments, cable sizing, voltage drop and lighting calculations.
• Support the design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, data, renewable energy and EV charging systems.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Attend project meetings and site visits, supporting inspections and resolving technical issues.
• Assist in preparing technical specifications, reports and tender documentation.
• Learn industry standards, regulations and sustainable design principles while contributing to high-quality project delivery.
