The Role
You’ll join our Electrical team in Dublin, supporting the design and delivery of electrical building services across a diverse range of commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, and mixed‑use projects.
Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across every stage of project delivery – from concept design through construction and final handover – developing both your technical expertise and professional confidence.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with the design of electrical building services systems across multiple sectors
- Produce electrical drawings, schematics and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit
- Carry out engineering calculations including load assessments, cable sizing, voltage drop and lighting calculations
- Support the design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, data, renewable energy and EV charging systems
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects and multidisciplinary design teams
- Attend project meetings and site visits, supporting inspections and resolving technical issues
- Assist in preparing technical specifications, reports and tender documentation
- Learn industry standards, regulations and sustainable design principles while contributing to high‑quality project delivery
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
- Graduate experience in electrical design or building services (placements and internships welcomed)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and building services design
- Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
- A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop
Desirable
- Experience with Dialux, Relux, Amtech, Trimble ProDesign, ETAP or similar design software
- Exposure to BIM workflows and Revit MEP
