Job summary

Hunter Savage in Dublin is seeking a Junior Site Engineer to join a growing civil contracting team. Ideal for a Civil Engineering graduate or engineer with 1-2 years of site experience, this role offers exposure to a variety of civil projects.

You will assist with setting out and surveying, support site management to ensure safety, timely delivery and conformity with drawings, and maintain accurate site records and reports. Excellent communication and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Approximately 1-2 years' site engineering experience, or a strong recent graduate with relevant placement experience.
• Strong understanding of setting out and site engineering principles.
• Proficient in the use of surveying equipment and relevant software.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the setting out and surveying of works on site.
• Supporting site management teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
• Monitoring quality control and ensuring works comply with project drawings and specifications.
• Maintaining accurate site records, reports and documentation.
• Liaising with subcontractors, clients and project stakeholders as required.
