Job summary

Jncfence is seeking a motivated Junior Civil Engineer / Site Engineer to gain practical experience across civil, construction, and sports pitch projects throughout Ireland. The role involves site surveys, setting-out, and collaboration with site teams.

Graduate engineers are encouraged to apply; a degree in Civil Engineering is required and AutoCAD is advantageous. The position offers on-site work in Ireland with room for development within a growing Irish company.

Qualifications

• Monitor works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Record site measurements and maintain project documentation.
• Assist with material quantities and take-offs.
• Liaise with site crews, subcontractors, suppliers and project managers.
• Assist with quality control and project handovers.
• Support the delivery of fencing, civil engineering and all-weather sports pitch projects.
• Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.

We are seeking a motivated Junior Civil Engineer / Site Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or junior engineer looking to gain practical experience across civil engineering, construction and sports pitch projects throughout Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements

• Degree or Level 7/8 qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline
• Graduate engineers are encouraged to apply
• Good understanding of construction drawings and basic surveying
• AutoCAD experience would be an advantage
• Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working both on site and in an office environment
• Full Irish driving licence preferred
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
