Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer for a major public realm project in Swords. The role focuses on setting out, QA, site documentation, and coordinating subcontractors within an established civils contractor.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering qualification and 1+ years in a site engineering role. Full Irish/EU work eligibility and Safe Pass are expected; strong graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting out and surveying works on site.
• Work closely with the Site Management and Engineering teams to ensure works are delivered to specification.
• Carry out quality checks and maintain accurate site records.
• Assist with levels, measurements and technical queries.
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractors on site.
• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and programme.
• Assist with QA documentation, inspections and reporting.
• Support the Site Manager and Project Engineer with day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across the works.

INFORM3 currently recruiting for a Junior Site Engineer to join an established civil engineering contractor on a major public realm project in Swords.

The role would suit a Junior Engineer looking to build strong site experience, working alongside an experienced project team and gaining exposure to setting out, QA, site documentation, subcontractor coordination and general civils delivery.

Junior Civil Engineer Job Responsibilities

• Good understanding of setting out and reading technical drawings.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a site team.
• Full Irish/EU work eligibility.
• Safe Pass and relevant site tickets.
