Job Purpose
McSport is currently looking for a Buyer to join our Procurement Department which is based in our Dublin HQ. We are looking for energetic, hardworking individuals who are passionate and dedicated in what we do!

Responsibilities & Duties
- Calculating required stock quantities for sales & placing purchase orders with vendors.
- Responsible for the tracking of purchase orders, communicating with vendors & freight-forwarders.
- Carry out reporting on purchase orders clearly and efficiently.
- Accurate Navision updates on purchase orders ETAs (expected time of arrival)
- Efficient and effective use of excel for procurement data.
- Communicate current stock levels & upcoming deliveries internally (goods-in, inventory, E-commerce, marketing & sales).
- Working closely with inventory team on accurate stock level reporting.
- Provide necessary support on commercial & direct orders to the relevant teams.
- Review pricing in line with competitors and current margin.
- Market research on possible new product development areas.
- Input into company marketing plans & product promotions.
- Quality Control on products, communicating with vendor accordingly.
- Support Procurement with Tender management.
- Represent department head in their absence for some internal meetings.
- Responsible for clear communication with department head.
- Various other administration duties.
Keys Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role focused on Buying / Procurement.
- Following training, proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Office
- Experience using Microsoft Navision desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced working environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. (Fluent in English)
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Proven problem solver and quick to master new skills.
