Job summary

MUFG Investor Services in Ireland invites an experienced professional to join our Client Trading Operations team as Junior Associate Director. You will lead daily trading activity, oversee fund order processing, and act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.

You will drive improvements, mentor team members, and work with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate, compliant and timely service in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Experience within Fund Order Desk, Fund Dealing, Client Trading, Investment Operations, Trade Operations, Custody Operations, or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of fund subscriptions, redemptions, settlements, and investor trading activity.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC and operational controls within a regulated financial services environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and support team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily client trading activities and ensure all trading deadlines are met.
• Coordinate the processing of fund orders, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and capital commitments.
• Review and validate trade documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client and fund requirements.
• Manage trade settlement activities and resolve trading exceptions and operational queries.
• Partner with clients, investment managers, fund administrators, custodians, and internal teams to ensure delivery of high-quality service.
• Support AML/KYC due diligence requirements and interactions with underlying fund administrators.
• Track and manage fund expense invoices and payments.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation, system enhancements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Coach and develop team members while supporting departmental projects and reporting.
