Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to join a growing technology and automation function in Dublin, supporting AI-enabled applications and intelligent workflows. You will design, develop and test AI-powered tools, build APIs, and collaborate with teams across Microsoft technologies and cloud platforms.

You will gain hands-on experience with Python and Rust, TypeScript, Node.js, and REST APIs, while learning secure software practices, CI/CD and documentation.

Qualifications

• Third-level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related field.
• Strong portfolio of technical work may be considered in lieu of formal degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support internal AI-powered tools and workflows.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations for AI models with enterprise apps and data sources.
• Develop production-quality Python and Rust solutions; JS/TS exposure where appropriate.
• Support AI agent workflows including prompting, tool use and orchestration.
• Work with Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, Graph).
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, CI/CD and collaboration.
• Produce architecture notes, support docs and operational procedures.
• Engage with stakeholders to refine applications based on user feedback.
