Job summary

PACIV is seeking an experienced IT/OT Engineer for a F&B project in Cork, Ireland. You will design, implement, commission and document IT/OT network infrastructure supporting the new plant, including security, VLANs, DMZ, firewalls, and connectivity to PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and MES.

You will act as the technical owner for network architecture, ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, and support start-up with troubleshooting and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT/OT network experience in manufacturing or process environments.
• Experience with IT/OT convergence and industrial connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of network topology, security, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, integration and commissioning of network components.
• Perform FAT/SAT for network equipment and OT connectivity.
• Troubleshoot IT/OT connectivity during construction, commissioning and start‑up.
• Define IT/OT network topology and ensure cybersecurity alignment.
• Collaborate with engineering, vendors and operations to validate readiness.
• Support VM/storage/domain integration and monitoring tools.
• Develop and maintain validation documentation and SOPs.
• Provide status reporting on readiness and risks to leadership.
