Job summary

PACIV is seeking an IT/OT Engineer for a site-based Cork project. You will design, implement, commission, and document IT/OT network infrastructure supporting PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and MES, ensuring secure connectivity and alignment with global standards.

You will lead technical ownership, collaborate with EPCM partners, and drive operation readiness for start-up with hands-on support during line trials and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT/OT, network engineering, or industrial systems integration.
• Experience in manufacturing or process environments (F&B, pharma) preferred.
• Experience with IT/OT network design (LAN/VLAN/WiFi) and industrial Ethernet.
• Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, HMI and OT connectivity requirements.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams and infrastructure documentation.
• Experience with FAT/SAT, commissioning, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, integration and commissioning of network components and virtualization environments.
• Conduct FAT/SAT for network equipment, cybersecurity controls, and OT system connectivity.
• Troubleshoot IT/OT connectivity during construction, commissioning and start-up.
• Act as technical interface for EPCM partners, integrators and vendors.
• Provide hands-on technical support during system bring-up and line trials.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and validation protocols.
• Support readiness and handover to Operations and IT.
