Job summary
Westbourne is seeking an experienced IT/OT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to support IT and OT environments within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot complex issues and maintain business-critical systems while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and laboratory teams.
The role requires a strong background in IT infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity, plus hands-on experience with manufacturing software, PLC/SCADA/DCS, LIMS and validation standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
- Equivalent relevant industry experience considered.
- Experience in IT/OT environments desirable.
- Knowledge of GMP/quality systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations and virtualization in manufacturing settings.
- Support OT networks, switches, VLANs, routing and secure remote access.
- Manage endpoint protection, patching and system hardening across IT/OT.
- Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP and backups.
- Provide technical support for PLC, SCADA, DCS and laboratory systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment connectivity and data interfaces with vendors.
- Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and system upgrades.
- Ensure IT/OT systems comply with QMS and validation standards.
