Job summary

ERM is seeking an EIA Project Manager to oversee end‑to‑end EIA projects in Ireland. You will act as the main interface between clients, internal technical teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring programme delivery, budget management, and quality assurance.

The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing EIAR preparation under Irish regulations, and guiding project delivery from bid through post‑submission stages while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science, planning, geography, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrable experience managing EIA projects in Ireland.
• Strong understanding of Irish planning and EIA legislation and consenting processes.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Strong project management, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage EIA projects from inception through submission and post‑submission support.
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and risk registers.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams (ecology, ornithology, noise, landscape, etc.).
• Manage project handover from bid to delivery with clear scope and terms.
• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, action trackers, and changes.
• Interface with regulators and stakeholders including An Bord Pleanála and local authorities.
• Provide post‑submission support including responses to information requests.
