Job summary

MKO, Ireland’s leading planning and environmental consultancy, is looking for a dedicated professional to lead projects from inception to completion and manage profitability. You will provide regular updates to the General Environmental team and clients, and oversee day-to-day project delivery, invoicing and fee management.

The role includes guiding junior staff, engaging with regulators, and driving business development to win new work while ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in a similar role.
• Excellent report writing and technical reviewing skills.
• Strong project management, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, including managing project profitability.
• Provide regular updates to the team and clients, reporting on project performance.
• Manage day-to-day projects, fee agreements, invoicing and ensure delivery to client expectations.
• Oversee junior team members and sub-consultants; engage with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Lead business development, prepare fee proposals, identify opportunities and ensure a steady workflow.

Environmental science or environmental engineering degree
