The Coca-Cola Company in Wexford, Ireland, is hiring a permanent Lab Analyst to support the Ingredient Quality Department (IQD). The role reports to the IQD Laboratory Manager and ensures the quality and integrity of ingredients used in our beverages.
You will perform routine analytical testing, record results, follow SOPs and safety guidelines within an ISO 17025 accredited lab, with structured training and hands-on experience.
This permanent role based in Wexford Ireland reports to the IQD Laboratory Manager, Flavour Manufacturing Wexford.
The Ingredient Quality Department (IQD) assures the quality and integrity of ingredients used in Company products. Working closely with internal and external flavour producers, the team applies analytical, sensorial, and quality‑system knowledge to support manufacturing operations and to confirm ingredient suitability for release.

The Lab Analyst is responsible for performing routine analytical testing and supporting core laboratory operations. This role focuses on building foundational laboratory skills, consistency in execution, and understanding of quality systems.
Working within an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, this role provides the opportunity to develop strong technical fundamentals through structured training and hands‑on experience.
This role requires working on a shift pattern.

Perform routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products following established methods and procedures.
Accurately record and manage test results in laboratory systems, ensuring completeness and compliance with quality requirements.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, Good Laboratory Practices and Quality Management System requirements always.
Prepare samples, reagents and equipment to support laboratory testing activities.
Operate basic laboratory instrumentation with training, identifying and reporting any issues or deviations.
Assist with routine equipment checks, maintenance and calibration activities.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment to support effective laboratory operations.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily workload and turnaround requirements.
Escalate deviations, unexpected results or equipment issues in a timely manner to support effective resolution.
Develop knowledge of laboratory techniques, systems and quality expectations through training and practical experience.
Contribute to a culture of safety, quality and continuous learning within the laboratory.
Relevant laboratory experience (internship, placement or early career experience desirable).
Basic understanding of laboratory practices and safety requirements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
